Megan Prescott

Clinical Operations Manager / Akron Clinic Manager / Physical Therapist Assistant

Megan is a Nebraska native from Wisner.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of South Dakota in Psychology with a minor in Athletic Training, and later furthered her education at Western Iowa Technical Community College and earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree.  She was active in sports throughout high school as well as played Rugby at USD, where her interest in physical therapy continued to grow. Since graduating from WITCC in 2011, she has practiced in outpatient, inpatient, home health, and skilled rehab settings. 

Megan has seen a variety of patients over her career ranging from sports injuries, general post-operative orthopedics, vestibular disorders, and neurologically involved patients. She has enjoyed the vast variety of patients she has seen over the years and continues to expand her knowledge to continue to help her patients. 

Megan is certified/trained in Graston Technique, Myofascial Cupping, and has recently completed a 1.5 week intensive continuing education course on John Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR)

She and her husband, Billy, have 2 children. When away from work, Megan enjoys cheering on the Huskers, participating in sporting events, hunting, and spending time with her family and friends.
